Hello Year 6 and welcome to Hurworth School.  I’m really looking forward to meeting you all in September.  Unfortunately, this year, due to COVID-19, I have been unable to come and meet you all in your primary schools.  This has meant that I don’t know you very well at all yet and so I have placed you all into forms that might not include all of your best friends.

When we start in the autumn term I will try my best to make sure that we get to know each other better and that you are in a form with some of your friends.  In the meantime, try not to worry about this and have a go at some of the transition bridging work I posted out to you.  Don’t worry if you can’t manage some of it, it’s just for a bit of fun and to give you an idea about what you might expect when you start in Year 7.  Don’t forget to search for Hurworth School on social media too!
